Title: So cool it's weird....
Post by: GT Jets on December 07, 2011, 07:56:15 AM
So Greg Boice has been building an aluminum air entrapment hull that is sure to change the game of racing on rivers...Maybe even more than the turbine engine..

If you want to check it out, here is the story of the build.   http://www.outlaweagle.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3114 (http://www.outlaweagle.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3114)

Wish I had the time and resources to do something like this.

steering with a stick?  that would be very odd.

Never flown a plane have you?

Tillers are actually pretty slick.

yeah when you have multiple axis to control... but just left/right?  unless that boat has some type of mechanical trim up/down in the jet?

Less body movement with a tiller, allows for smaller cockpit. also allows for lower COG. The trim may be coming soon.... ;)

Many of the early whitewater boats used a tiller style steering system.

Not as uncommon as you think.
