Title: Hornet jet
Post by: jjpp250 on June 09, 2009, 11:00:23 PM
Im trying to sell my 1971 Hornet made by Jet Boat Service. I've painted it, carpet and seats are in great shape, It has a 425 olds and berkely jet. It runs strong starts right up and always is dependable. Need to sell it to put money in a Hondo I got last summer. What kind of price would you guys say it is worth, Or would say is a good asking price.

Ball parkin' it here (have'nt seen, heard, smelled or tasted it yet  :P) $3500- $4000 is what I have seen similar go for. I would think being summertime, should go pretty easy.

There again, there are a lot of boats on the market right now  :-\

Good luck with it, nice looking float!

I had it for sale down the road last summer and the top of the intake manifold was stolen. It had 2 holley 650s and a basset air cleaner, that was a $1200.00 loss. I had this top and I scraped up a 850 hooey and I buddy gave me the air scoop I'll I had to do is cut about 3.5" off so it didn't look like ET.

I'd be willing to trade this boat for parts to redo my hondo. Some good pump parts for a jacuzzi wj, I need a diverter, maybe some headers to repace the logs, 455 olds parts, Trade me all parts or parts and money.
