Title: 460 single groove crankshaft pulley???
Post by: Marcsrollin on June 12, 2009, 11:22:04 AM
What are you ford guys using for a pulley for your crank/alt? My last motor had a groove built into the dampner so i dident need one. Now I am trying to put a alt on the new motor and can't find a pulley that I like.

Use a standard pulley and drill then break off the outer pulley, viola, single pulley!

Just bought a billet aluminum single sheave dealio, it's with my lil brother (machinist/boat burner) to see if he can reproduce better and deeper grooved, news at 11 on that.

The OEM harmonic balancers that had integral pulleys came on 1968 & 1969 engines only.
