I am wondering what is a good setup. I have stock heads and would like to put a cam and roller setup in my motor I am looking for more performance.I am putting a victor intake and runing a 750 carbuerator. What is your suggestion lift size rocker arms ETC the more information the better. thanks

I have had good luck with Howards' cams.
Something like this:
Cam-243745-12. Cam Kit-CL243745-12. Adv Dur- 282 286, Dur @ .050- 229 233, Lift- .600 I .594 E, 112* LSA, 108* ISL, Hyd.
2200-6200 Good idle, High Performance Street. Needs good intake, headers 9.0:1 CR & 2200+.
With any performance cam, compression ratio, exhaust type, intake type, piston material, as well as other factors, will affect cam choice.
With any Hydraulic roller, you are going to need the right springs and correct length push rods.
As far as rockers, I'd go Stainless steel or Chromoly, something like this:

I've had several failures with aluminum roller rockers. (fatigue factor)

I have a set of 14 Scorpion roller rockers for sale. Just call Summit and buy one more pair. Pretty sure they are 1.7s. Make me an offer.

I have a full set of scorpion rockers if needed , $120 for the set . About 20hrs on them . Will post picks

Solid roller or hydraulic roller?
If hydraulic roller, then I recommend staying away from them in your application due to the messed up valve train geometry they impose. Instead, stay with a hydraulic flat tappet or solid flat tappet camshaft that will provide the power increase you want.
If solid roller, then your heads will likely require machining in order to run one. Also, go with only a top of the line rocker arm set such as what Crower offers...that, and a set of rocker stud girdles.

I agree with the second paragraph... But slightly confused about the first... Messed up valvetrain geometry the hydraulic roller imposes? Huh?

The taller lifter causing exaggerated pushrod angles? The hydraulic lifter taking the brunt.
Just guessing. Not huge on Ford's.

You probably will not find much difference in power no matter what cam you use. The issue with Fords are the cylinder heads. The exhaust ports on stock 460 heads are shit. You would find a noticeable difference if you invest in some aftermarket cylinder heads. Just my opinion though.
