Title: Gauges no-workie
Post by: 81cruiser on March 21, 2012, 01:07:46 PM
So I installed brand new autometer gauges, WITH the new sensors that came with them. My voltmeter works perfectly, and I THINK my water temp does as well (old one never really got very high), but all my oil pressure and fuel level do it go up to zero when I turn the key on, but when running, don't show any different readings. Any ideas? I've done continuity checks on wires from sensors to gauges, and all voltages needed are present....

That's a good idea, didn't even think of that, and yes I did, but only on the threads, no overlap onto the sending unit themselves.
