Hey everyone,
I?m buying a new engine that has a crank trigger distributer, and flying magnet. I?m never used this type. Is an ignition system that is controlled by your computer required? Or can I run something simpler such as a 6a? I suppose I?m worried I may lose some performance as I would have no vacuum advance compared to a normal distributor. But I don?t need all the features of a fully programable msd system that a car can use for drag racing. The engine is 700hp to the crank.
Any input or help is appreciated.
