I got this new to me jetboat, i have no idea where the stock battery mounting location used to be. So the last owner just mickey mouse let the battery sot there against the exhaust manifold with a block of qood between the manifold and the battery.
I need dual batteries (one starter & one deep cycle for a stereo im putting in.
The only logical place i can see me mounting 2 battery boxes is up front and screwing them to the plywood up front and running 2 guage battery cable to the starter, ground, etc.
Has anyone done this? Where do i mount these batteries?

Do you have a picture? You have it in a battery box?
The only place i can see screwing into anything is fiberglass. Other than the wood in the back of the seat

Mine actually has a flat piece of wood that goes from each stingers to the side at the transom? for some reason I can?t load a picture of it. I think I have pictures of the inside of the boat from when I pulled the motor? let me find the thread?

This is perfect, i appreciate the time you took to repost those pictures. That's a great idea to mount them like that. One on each side.
Thanks
