454 HO Gen VI +.30 (460)marine hydraulic roller cam Edelbrock intake quoted from engine builder 425 Hp torque 500 holley 750 4160 with QFT Quick-Set adjustable secondary housing assembly. seems like secondaries are opening really late already 3 turns out should I keep going. Is it because my vaccum is so low I need a really light adjustment. Not a pro just reading a ton to figure things out. Still having trouble jumping out of the hole but better than before. Have to have the peddle buried for at least 6 to 10 seconds before the secondaries fully open. Max rpm is 4000 to 4500 its bouncing around as I've seen it shoot to 5000 once.

I use the lightest spring in the secondaries, on a 750 Holley 4160.

With 425 HP, you should be around 5000 to 5100 rpm.

Ok ill try setting the adjustment to the lightest setting hopefully that will get the RPM's up as I'm guessing my secondaries probably still aren't fully opening thanks for the info I'll let you know how it goes.

i have never seen the "quick set" setup. i will have to look more into it. Im used to spring changes.

Its pretty great just has an adjustment screw vs switching springs allows for a better adjustment for the secondaries
