Title: switching headers
Post by: Havasukona455 on April 29, 2013, 10:30:53 AM
hey guys. just bought these rewarder tt headers that are ceramic coated with water lines. i guess these are rare for a 455 ? got a steal on them. are these pretty simple to install ? my boat had logs and snails on it before and i switched to bassets. i have the headers but not the tubes or tips so if anybody has any they want gone ill will buy them. I know kaotyk had them on his tahiti so im gonna look through his thread but still will need some help

yeah i saw that set up. the only thing i can find on these headers is that they were custom made from rewarder. cpp doesnt show them or any other webiste. i found my exact ones off google but only the headers not how they installed. im leaving for the river this weekend so im debating whether i want to start this today or not. I guess i will go home and put these on to see if the hose will bend just right to where i can mount them. I think my hull will be in the way. i also found this on google when looking for my headers

Yeah that's what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna wait till I get back then ill start on it. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna get the 45 degree insert just to make it flush. Plus I'm sure ill need it

Copper 45 degree fittings and some pipe...Done. I think I have the stuff here to do it.

This allows you to custom make the fittings and use extremely short pieces of hose.

Yeah that's what I was talking about yesterday with my dad. He's a plumber so he has copper and brass fittings. I was also think of mocking up my own tubing by using some of his material to turn and pivot to make sure it fits right then welding up my own set up once I have a mock up. Hey gt where are you located ?
