Holy cow do I hate my wiring. I was trying to figure out what was going on and holy cow! It looks like there were two different people doing it and we're both color blind. Then some one else went and added shit over time. I have so many dead wires and connections in my boat that I could probably re run wire and pick up a few mph just by the weight loss. Oh and the best part I have grounds grounding grounds. And ground wires that aren't really grounded. I really don't want to have to redo the wiring before summer, or at all really. It kind of scares me...

Boat wiring can be lots of fun 

Sometimes the rusted connections will simply break contact until you figure out which one it is until you loosen and move around then retighten.

I go through all of my electrical connections and spray them good with clear coat paint! This will stop the corrosion. I had a scary lookin gas staion mechanic teach me this when I was workin the full service station as a teenager.

Yeah the hard part about the ones that are labeled, is two for the 13 for so that I traced out didn't go to what they said...
Yeah I know I'm just one of those people that if I know something is wrong I have to fix it. And so far that's all I've been able to do it. Is fix everything, but wiring is one of those things that makes me real nervous to mess with.

yah trailers are real fun!  the best thing you can do with a trailer is have a batt there and just go at it!

Holy Scotche locks. Why trace when you can replace. Rip it out and build a new harness. Use the boating association wire colors. Google it you will find the colors. I get all my wiring at mcmaster including the terminals.

dude just start over. if you post up all your gauges, accessories, bilge pump, etc we can make you a wiring diagram and simplify eveeerrything.  more importantly it will be safe and reliable.

That'd be sweet, I've been looking on line and can't find my set up. It has some small random additions that I can't find. And it's super shitty because I have no real place to work on it, I have to store it at a yard. Because the rules where I live is you can't have a recreational vehicle or trailer visible from the street or on the street over night. And working at the yard is possible but it's hard and not real close to my house.
So the harness build was more what I was leaning towards. Able to take all the dimensions and build it, then able to install it in a day.

Yeah even more so when working on getting all the lights working your truck battery takes a crap...
And half the bulbs in the lights are burnt out.
I hate how many connections I had to use, but it's done. I think hooking up all the lights on the trailer might be a little over kill, but it's working! Haha
