I had my eyelet on the front of my boat come loose and fall into lake san antonio a few weeks back and went and bought a new u-bolt and its way to short. my ? is what is the lenght on those u-bolts and how the hell am i supose to get all the way up there to put those damn nuts on. It's a really tight fit in there and im not a small guy. :banghead: Its on my 74 sanger super jet just FYI.

I am not against using child labor in matters such as these... :sly:
They make long reach u bolts... Get the ones with the jamb nuts on the "outside", good luck, I have done a bunch of these and they all sucked...
PS, back it up with some angle iron. ;)
