Got this this weekend, a 20' light lay up race hull?? The pump is sticking out the hull 2" ?

Looks like a Texas tunnel hull. Post up the hin number. The tag is located upper right corner of the transom. As far as the jet, what you have is a set back pump. What you are seeing is an incomplete pump, of course. The suction housing is there, the ride plate is there. You are missing the impeller, bowl, and nozzle. Probably missing a bunch of odd-n-ends too. Neat find! Judging by the primer, you should check for cracks, repairs, and structural integrity.

This one was free , came in a package deal from a estate have the bowl and a American turbine snoot, No impeller, the other was a 1985 Hardin 18 '? marauder I think , came with title, I was hopping to use the rail system, and drive shaft , but drive shaft looks longer then normal, probably to move the weight forward, I have a 1972 302 wakasha on a jacuzzi jet , much shorter coupler. I Have two ford 460 330 hp king cobra marine motors, if I where to build one I go 454, I have 10+ of them in various states all marine, as I have a inboard boat salvage yard in MN.
I was Hopping to do a cam and intake on the 460 and I have many 750 holley Double
pumpers off Volvo penta DP set ups.
Last two photos of the tunnel boats rail system and peddles

What a shame. Looks like it was a really nice boat with some good hardware
