My son's interior is faded a bit and he's looking for a bandaid for this summer. He'll have the insides redone this winter.
Has anyone used this on thier seats?? Summit sells it.

The only one I've seen work is SEM.

EDIT: If you can't find it local to you, I have a place in town that sells it, I'd be happy to get some and ship it your way.

i have a friend that used duplicolor vinyl paint and it has held up for two seasons now and he uses his boat a lot during the season.

I used the SEM after talking to a couple of different upholsterers and some guys @ the fabric shops, they all said use SEM, so I did, I dyed the interior of my 60 Pontiac, I had new tuck n roll done, including a padded tnr dash pad and parcel tray, in white, let's just say that white is BRIGHT beyond anyone's imagination in the sun. I dyed it a cream color and loved it, sent that car to Japan with that interior in it, good luck, follow all the directions to the T, you'll be good

Been having good luck with the duplicolor stuff, so far. We'll see how it holds up this season.

I read some good reviews of color bond at overton's site. We're going to give it a try.
Thank you all for your input.

Does anyone know if it is possible to paint or dye the interior parts of a GW? I would like to change the color from cordovan to gray or black. This would include the dash, A/C/ vents, trim for the headliner, rear windows.

Just wanted to let you guys know we scraped the color bond and went with a new interior. The color was no where close to the color chip when we did a test. They screwed us around for two weeks to get our money back. They didn't want to lose a sale. I wouldn't deal with them again.

Hey guys my seats are ok but i want to liven them up and was thinking about dye should bring them back to life again what do you think

All I can add is to say, make sure you get a color chart mailed to you before you chose the paint.
The computer colors were no where near what we thought we were ordering. If you call them they ship the chart right out.

I never knew that. I'll have to check for one. Thank you ;D
