Title: Painting the Floors

Im getting ready to build some seats in the boat and im going to clean the floor and some hardware up at the same time. What do you guys use to paint the floors in between the stringers? I read that garage floor epoxy works great, but haver never tried it on my own. I am on a budget so i think flow coat, and bilge coat are out of the question, plus i want to do it black.

A good epoxy will be fine. I would use imron that shit is gnarly

sand your floor baby butt smooth, then mix up some gelcoat from west marine with a bunch of tint in it to whatever color... do a couple layers and then blocksand it flat once its cured.  then wetsand it smooth and polish it up. whats nice about the gel is it can be sanded to remove imperfections and then polished up to make it shiney.

this is the method I'm using its not cheap and a lot of work and still not done but looking good
