Title: Securing seat boxes to new floor

I put in a new floor (3/4" ply) and made new seats/seatboxes. What is the best way to secure those boxes to the floor?

Unless you use a hole saw to access the nuts to through bolt them, I would use Snap Toggles. They can be had at Fastenall and online stores.

Be sure to fill the holes full of marine grade caulk, not silicone (unless you really don't want to ever get them apart again)....

These work good and I use them quite often. (I am a service technician for a mechanical contractor).

I was thinking about epoxying 2x2's around the inside perimeter of the box, then securing the angle iron into the top of the 2x2's. Just to keep from making holes in the floor. I have used the snap toggles before,  may be the way to go.

Dont  laugh but i stuck,my seat frames down with silicone.when you glue something on with that it doesnt come off

I concur.  I would glass the seat bases in on the outside and inside. I prefer not using any angle iron and putting holes in my floor that will soak up water.  Just my 02 cents worth.
