Title: How interchangeable are Berkeley jet drive parts (bowls)?
Post by: bluthndr on August 23, 2023, 09:23:26 AM
I have a 12JC with diverter and want to go to a split bowl.  Found a dominator bowl for sale locally.  Can I just bolt on the dominator bowl and a droop snoot and put my JC nozzle and diverter on it?  What else is there to it?

That should work. Will need a steering extension too.

If it's an early Dominator bowl, the tail shaft bushing size is different, check that out first.
I contemplated the same thing.
There was no advantage to the early Dominator bowl, especially without a droop.

If it's a later Dominator bowl, that's different.

Early was the bud-mar casting I believe.

Flusher and Tom at JBP would know for sure.
