Hello y?all, I have a prime a jet on my Berkeley pump and noticed water sprays out of the two jet holes while running. Is this normal? I was just wondering if it closed off some how or it?s supposed to spray out. Thanks

By jet holes I assume you mean the pump pins that secure the nozzle to the bowl? If it sprays there you need to replace the plastic inserts.
See this video in the beginning, they sell them at berkely/cp/etc.

If you are leaking from the hand hole cover, you just need a new o-ring.

No it?s a prime a jet drilled into the bowl. I just called HTP and they told me at idle it?s normal and should shut off on throttle.

Probably a speck of sand or two holding it off the seat, I'd try compressed air and blow thru it or maybe some WD40.
