New to jet boating. Looking to run down to Martinez for the day from Palo Verde. Any intel would be appreciated
How manu miles?
Fuel needed?
Hazards to look for?

If your in a jet lots of fuel and watch for sand bars as normal. I know there is a stop or two on the way down think Walters u might be able to get fuel possibly few others, I have never sacked up and tryed it lol

Just downloaded a map with river mile markers. Looks like it's 44 miles from the Hippie Hole to Martinez.

Not to bad if your not deep in the throttle but definitely a risk ha ha.

Nice drive... done it a couple times... i burn about 30 gallons there and back. There is 87 octane at walters and 91 at fishers... so you'll be cool. Few sandbars... but most are pretty damn obviously visable... especially with polarized sunglasses. Purdiest part of the river is just below walters to picacho... lots of cool scenery and not a lot of boats.
