new to the jet boat world, i just bought a bbc eliminator jet boat, and noticed that there are on/off hose valves, and hoses everywhere, is this normal? is there a  website that shows how this is to be routed and what the valves are for?

on your diagram it show coolant lines coming from the thermostat??? my engine has a block-off plate on the thermostat, is this normal?

how are you guys checking coolant pressure? can i tap my thermostat block-off plate and install a psi gauge there to monitor the coolant pressure? im told its to be 20-25 psi?

That's acceptable IMHO.

The gauge can be installed virtually anywhere, I would recommend a tee on the outlet of the manifold there that hose comes out. A good spot for ease of use...

FWIW a 3/8" (inside diameter) overboard dump will squirt water about 3 feet straight out before it starts to arch down at 15 PSI....
