okay so I went to register and title my boat and since they painted over the hin number the officer wants me to try to find any records from the Tahiti boats so if anybody has work for tahiti or knows anyone with the molds in the records are if somebody can let me know It might help me also if any of you guys have tahiti tiger can you take a picture of where your hin number is and post it so I can see where its at because I'm going to try to sand down my paint to see if I can find it because they won't give me any registration here in Nevada until I find that number so I could be poked on buying this boat I'm totally bummed out. Thanks guys

I sent someone to go get it for me n they thaught the numbers that matched on the bow where good

All boat builders were required to put hin numbers on the upper right, rear side of the hulls around 74.
If yours is older, it won't have them.
You can try the flash light in the inside of the hull trick.
If the numbers were just painted over, they might still shine through. .

Ok so maybe worried to much if u lay ur head againt the transom i can see the HIN spot and the #s if you kinda roll side to side with the right angle. the boat is right so whoohoo now gotta see if i can get the officer to sit on the ground n cheek nuzzle my transom. :screwy: what do u think chances of that are?

He will say to just read it to him, so write it down so he can verify and you'll be on your way
