Title: Beefy Cav Hinge

Anyone know where i can find some beefy cav plate hinges like this? talked to lance (owner) and he said it came off a v-drive cruiser.....hes found something like it since, but it was military spec and was around $500 a foot.

any suggestions?

Hey Brad, do you really need the plates to move that far?  :screwy:

Anyway, here is what we used on one of the riverboats, fairly inexpensive.

I need to look around but I may have a couple pieces around here somewhere...

These are stainless and almost 1/8" in thickness and you will not break them... I think we used 3 feet of a 6' piece, gotta look around (it might be in Oregon)...
