Title: FB & IG are Down - Make Forums Great Again!

Facebook and Instagram have been down for several hours so I sent an email out via our newsletter telling everyone to come visit the forum! So what are you up to today? Have you been more productive since you're not spending hours mindlessly scrolling the FB and IG feeds?

Trouble with restarting a semi-dormant forum after FB is it's a lot like an awkward blind date.   "So...  weather's been nice".  "Yeah."  [crickets chirp]

I actually thought SCJB was about dead except for the merch until I found it on FB.  I do prefer forums, though.

Lol yeah the forums have taken a hit on traffic since the FB group started, but I didnt have a choice. Others were creating FB groups and creating much more traction due to ease of use on FB. If I didnt create the FB group, the whole brand would have died and became irrelevant. Just had to keep with the times. Hopefully this downtime with FB brings some awareness/traffic back to the forums.

Havent had any social media outlets for going on 3 years now and i have never been better off without it, shit is a waste of time and stupid as fuck.

Feels like a normal day to me. Lol Never have had a FB account. So every day I just hope for new content on the forums.


The forums are great for tech talk. Search it up and find tons of info.
Plus you can find old fun threads to reread.

I’ve always liked the forum  better , the people here are all about the boating culture and having a great time on the water , instead of trying to argue and jam each other over every little thing. Social media can turn into a shit show real quick “ seen it way too many times . Boat on brothers and sisters

Welcome Home people. About time.

I know fb and ig have been important to expand the brand, but it would nice to get a bit more traffic on the forums.
