so i should be getting another hull here soon. an 20' ultra. ultra needs a new floor. most of the rigging will be swapped over from my current float, 21' tahiti.
that leaves the tahiti pretty bare...i cant say exactly what will be left over after swap- saddle tanks among a few other odds and ends. it also needs stringers, gunwale supports and a floor put in. my question is.... should i try to sell the tahiti as is, without stringers, gunwale supports and a floor (and no trailer)? or replace these items and try to sell it that way? either way it goes without a trailer. what would make it more appealing to the would be buyer....making easier to sell? also....what would a project like this go for?
'81 21' tahiti mini day. (aside from what was mentioned...hull is in good shape, intake included. gel could use a good polish)

Sell the intake and scrap the boat. It doesn't sound like it's worth much.

x2 on scrapping the hull. There's a lot of empty hulls on craigslist that aren't selling.

You might try "free to good home". The only person that would be interested in a nearly bare hull is someone that has an existing boat that was looking to swap everything over (again). The 21' day is a good looking boat and you might find someone with a worn out 18' that wants to get into something bigger for very little money.
OR
You could keep your eyes open for another cheep donor boat, do the swap yourself and try to sell it for something more than a loss.
Good luck

a bare hull doesnt exactly fly off the shelves if you catch my drift.
so....how much more of a boat would make it more enticing/worth it?
