Title: Ready to Roll
Post by: 76Mantra455 on May 01, 2022, 04:31:01 PM
Well today installed the new forward reverse cable and cleaned it up a little. Ready for next trip. I may run up to the delta in a few weeks but not sure? I just know I?m ready for some boating and camping

Thank you, yeah this winter I?m pulling the olds and taking it down to Bostick to have a new cam, lifters, and a head job done on it. I also called AED to have a carb built for it too here in a few weeks. I like the edelbrock avs2 800 that?s on there but I feel like there is some horsepower I?m missing on the top end? I have not put bigger jets in it or messed with the metering rods either. I think I got used to the Holley that was on the cruiser for the first trip this year.
