So I picked this thing up in December and the fist thing I did was restore the trailer. So far I?ve really just stayed close to home doing some testing. Some of the issues have been:
Fuel not sucking from right tank (fixed, pickup tube was missing)
Tank switch (replaced)
Running too rich (has an 850 carb which is a bit too big, plan to het down and tune next)
Didn?t have cleats (installed)
Missing swim platforms (on their way in)
Trailer was junk (totally restored)
And a few other convenience add ons.
I?ve been from willow to cottonwood and fro Laughlin to Topock so far. Havasu this weekend. I?m looking at getting some machine work done on the impeller and jet and possibly a tunnel Ram. Currently I got it to 74 mph, goal is 85.

Very cool. My parents growing up had a Topline...believe it was an '89 as well. Steve Strange I believe was the owner of the company at the time. They had it custom built by him. Very similar to yours, but it was an open bow.

Right on! I?ve heard these are kind of rare but I?ve seen a handful now. There was another open bow in Topock Saturday
