If looking for that style boat there is a team Hawaiian on Craig's list inland empire. That looks pretty good for price could Probably get even cheaper then listed due to he wanted to trade for my toy hauler and was less then his list!

Thanks everyone for the time to look over those boats...I am going to look for the boat buying for dummies book!

Stringers seem to be a HUGE issue...so my buddy tells me you are supposed to "drill" and check for rot?

Also, can someone fill me in on boating the upper river, lower river, Havasu, and possibly Mead...different set ups, concerns, people....already read up on that green rattle snake...thought the kids and I were going to be able to throw a tent up at riverside and camp....maybe not!

Havasu/parker usually pretty busy and choppy you would be better off with a bigger daycruiser or something. Lower river is a little more friendly for small boats

As far as stringers i doubt anyone would let start drilling on the boat their selling. You can usually tell by looking at them if there rotted or not.

And whats this about a green rattle snake?!
