I was just curious as to how many people are planning on showing up still? I just called the bridge inn and Beerjet still has 8 of his ten rooms left.

Appearantly people are just getting rooms on there own which is all good . I reserved the rooms with the intent that some folks would wait , do to work or projects , till the last second and still have a room available .
I'LL HOLD THESE ROOMS TILL THE WEEK OF THE TRIP AND THEN I'M CANCELLING THE REST OF THE ROOMS ! Then your on your own . You can reserve a room and cancell it with in 24 hours of the date (WHICH WOULD BE MY SUGGESTION!) If you cant make it .

we are staying at fox's on the az side, floating bar and all, seems to be a nice place, 35.00 per night with hookups, 928-667-4100, i think we got the last 2 beachfront spots, but they should have plenty more regular spots, or we stayed at the bluewater rv park for the last races and it was 25.00 per night with hookups and a decent place to stay.

Oh great, I didn't even think of that, beachfront spots. Now I "get to" load and unload my boat everyday/night with the RV.    If I take the family boat I'll probably just leave it where ever instead of loading and unloading...

I think Bridge Inn is the only place Omar has rooms held back.  Nothing at Bluewater.

Take one of the omars rooms at the bluewater, they have a marina where you can leave the boat in the water overnight(I think its $15/day), Someone was saying that they have a security guard patrolling the marina all day/night.

Damn I've been researching Omar's room reserved situation for the past ? 10 minutes and... 

... Myself and Jetaholic will be meeting at the Blue Water and launching from there as well since it's $8 or so to launch .

Hotel: Its the "Bridge Inn" Formerly motel 6 . I've stayed there and it's nice and there is plenty of parking directly across the street . There is no boat parking on the premises . It is the best deal in town I think and the rooms are nice . Rooms will have refer. microwaves and jamming AC . Myself and Jetaholic have reserved 10 rooms each . You can call them directly between 3pm and 11 pm and speak with pablo who is in charge of our group and knows exactly what is going on . Tell him you are with the So cal Group to get the discounted rate of $56.10 + tax which is right around $62-$63 a night . The rooms I have reserved are for Fri. and Sat. night but when you take a room from the list , you can change it to what ever dates you want .

Since I know mine wont be ready, I think I have arranged the use of a friends '96 Ultra w/ a Berkley. Its not a speed demon, but will allow more room for a few others that can help split the fuel bill
