I have a 1980 miller with matching trailer (bought them both for 1300!!) I was told that the trailer floats with the boat off. Anybody ever this or was this guy full of crap?

My friend had a 68 Stevens v-drive flat bottom and the matching trailer was made out of wood and it floated and was easy to get that boat on the trailer every time.

Hell yeah they float my dad has had two millers and you have to take and drill a few holes on the inside of the fenders up top to let the air out as you put the boat in the water.

Only problem with a "Floating" trailer is that if you're trying to load when there's a crosswind or a chop. Personally I'd rather have one that sinks.
