Out boards as well.... my boat was hit by one of them this weekend at the dock and he fully denied it. How these idiots live by ignorance is beyond me.

i was in parker all last week and when friday came all the idiots came out :screwy: when we were there mon-thurs, every body waved at us as they went by even the pwc's. then friday came and all the courtisy (sp?) went out the door. all the big boats and b$g attutudes came out.  with all the deaths and accidents this weekend i went and looked into a boating safety course just to be ready because, its coming....... as well as manditory life vest, neither of wich i see as a problem. Hell we already have seat  belt laws so life vest's are coming, i have been looking around at different models that are not so bulky, found a few but they fire when submerged wich means no jumping off the boat when floating.  just rambling here

Heres another yesterday at Puddingstone.

When I was the Avi last month we came up on a bunch of women with a batchlorette party floating down from Laughlin that were just plowed into by a jet ski. The girls were on 2 huge green 6 peolple tubes. How this idiot didnt see them is unbelievable. 1 of the girls ended up dieing at the hospital.

Finally Bullhead City has passed a workable ordnance... Starting next year, January I think, ANY waverunner rental business MUST have 1 million dollars worth of insurance, per incident.... (They tried this last year and it failed due to the screams of those businesses who said it would put them out of business, gee, wouldn't that be a shame?)...Additionally, EACH watercraft must have a yearly City Park launch permit, and the permit will be pulled if the insurance is pulled.... AND, each watercraft must have the rental agency's name in LARGE, easy to read letters..... As a Bullhead resident, and frequent river boater, I applaud the BHC City Council for taking this drastic action in an effort to make the river saver, and more "boat" friendly..... It's about time..... I look forward to next spring and far fewer "lake lice" screwing up the water, and creating unsafe boating conditions...

This is a good thing no doubt, but I'm curious how many rentals, compared to private owned, are involved in accidents. I wouldnt mind a ban on all of 'em.

As of Jan 1, 2013, all 2-stroke PWC will no longer be allowed in lake Mead Recreational area (including Lake Mohave), unless they meet 2006 or newer emisions. The river is gonna get busier.

Dont know about Havasu or further south.

Its good news about the BHC city ord. Always people using the launch ramp/dock, as thier personal dock, and waiting on the rental co's tow rigs sitting on the launch ramp WTF?? I've parked in front of thier tow rigs, locked the truck, and left. I'll wait til they go around.(enjoying a boat soda) >:D

BTW: PWC's DO NOT like being followed or chased, or jumping thier wake, or doing U turns in front of them, ask me how I know 8)

Ready for summer

I want a paint gun..If the MFer is close enough for me to bounce a paint pellet of his forehead, he was too close... Ice cubes and a slingshot also work well...

i find away to avoid dangerous boat drivers by not going on the lake during the week or weekdays that i know wont be that crowded. and if there is still a lot of people i go places on the lake that don't have a bunch of people just ripping around. if more people would just have common sense about driving their boats it would all be fine. not saying people should be afraid of driving their boats just use your head right? easier said than done for a lot of the people  out there driving carelessly who just have no concern about other peoples lifes.
