Anyone know of any good flat bottom v drive projects for sale ? Preferable set up for bbc or sbc . I posted another thread on one I went to take a look at. But it ended up not being a good candidate.

Thanks grimpala I saw that boat in a thread on river Dave?s place everyone said it?s hammered and it?s not what he says it is ! But people are brutal on the internet I liked it !

I've got too many irons in the fire as is, otherwise it would be in the garage next to the Chevelle and Rogers.

If he responds and you need someone to go grab it and hang on to it till you can make it to TX let me know.

Probably one of those asses who sells it and then doesn't take down the ad, then gets pissed that people keep bugging him about it.

Thank you k034 so this week I also found a Sanger ski hydro complete less motor needs cables and minor things. Hull is good shape casale v drive all there the trailer could use some help but he?s at 5k for everything seems like a fair price to me or am I way off ?

Not seeing the boat doesn?t seem to bad. Hydro?s are very impractical thought, they don?t turn the best and sit really low to the water, but they do look bad ass, and haul ass.

That same boat is now listed for 1800 and he makes mention in the ad that the first 1500 takes it.   Something seems fishy.

I?m just being picky and holding out because inflation on trucks boats and travel trailers is over . Some guys know it and are still listing high other guys are holding on to what the have but as long as gas and groceries keep rising boats are coming down. I?ll admit I?ve over payed a few times in my learning process so I?m way more careful now

Those are really good boats and fast, but if there not set up right there not very forgiving.   My neighbor has one that is bitchen. If the floors stringers transom and bulkhead are good i would go for it. There pretty known and valuable boats. I would get rid of the tranny too.

Howard?s are good boats you just have e to be careful with a runner bottom. That boat has rino lined floors, which for me is a big red flag, that?s covering up a potential problem like stringers delam or floor delam, or transom rotted out. Just my opinion
