thats still the same guy that got it from me, if he keeps dropping the price i might be forced to try and get it back,  it might help if he actually wrote a decent ad for the damn thing, it has been built to a 496, the heads are l88 but they have been ported/polished with oversized valves, roller rockers, the carbs are 660 center squirters (unless he changed, but i doubt it), msd ignition...wait..nevermind it is a piece of shit, no one buy it >:D

Mine was stiff when working it back and forth on the trailer.
Once I got it on the water and under power, it was amazing!

Here's one I've been beating myself up about for a couple days. Got MANY more pics of it but.......Love to see someone out here score this and keep me from having to do it!

http://stlouis.craigslist.org/boa/1928576860.html

Essentially, here's what it is. It is the tunnel hull version of my Pickle boat. Initially, Pickle was ID'd as a "Streaker". But it isn't. Streakers were 1/4 stringer and floored. Mine is NOT, nor is this one. So, apparently, this one is like mine, SST bottoms with Streaker tops? Same HID prefix as mine........ :screwy:

This is weird.  I feel weird.   Seriously....WEIRD!  :o

I am 99.842519% sure that this is the boat I was so f#cking close to buying a few weeks ago.  Someone beat me to it for $3,800.
Now look at it : http://inlandempire.craigslist.org/boa/1944815439.html

Same brand, year, two tone paint, same white interior(with the box in the center of the back seat), same pump w/ jetovater, same engine with the scoop and blue valve covers.  Says it is a 490?  Not sure about that.  Maybe.
Now it is $9k?

It's not a big deal.  I just thought this was funny/weird.

I picked up the Boat Trader magazine this week.  It is dated Sept. 15.  On page 49 there is a 1973 Hondo open bow mini daycruiser.  427 BBC V-drive.  Looks nice for $5500.   Did Hondo ever make this one, or was it moded in someone's garage.  Ad says it is a "rare model".
