Is your transom backed with some plywood?

That's the only one I got and im honestly not sure about the wood.

Well, this is a huge job for starters.

If it is backed by plywood, you would be better served to remove the wood in the areas of the repair and laminate in a new section. Then you would need to build up new fiberglass after fairing the edges....

If no wood and only glass, I would recommend making some flat pieces of Formica covered wood and spray it down with some PVA mold release and attach it to the outside of the transom after it has been faired and make the repairs from the inside... (much less sanding)..Then you could use some polyester filler primer and block it out flat...

I guess it depends on how bad you want them fixed...

Well I think ill just look for a hull. There's a bit of other work that needs to be done to it and I don't want the hassle and im not really to fond of the hull anyways. At least I got everything I need for a transfer. Anyone got an extra hull with jet or stripped for a jacuzzi.

How much you lookin' to spend? What kind of hull are you interested in? I have an ulterior motive so don't get too excited....

If you are really not that interested in the hull and just want to get wet this summer, just dowel the smaller holes with some epoxy and get some exhaust cutout plugs...

On the water for cheap and quick....

I just recently plugged my tt transom holes. I could put up a few pics if you want. My transom is glass and wood. Basically just took a hole saw and made a couple of wooden plugs. I used some mat and resin to glass them in. After a little chamfering  (sp)  of the hole opening with a grinder, I lay in layers of matt until I was close to level. From there it was close enough for bondo.....but I took cabosil and resin....then used wax paper...a bungee cord...and a piece of glass out of a picture frame to make things nice n flat.
