Almost cracking seat?

Is there really no saving almost cracking vinyl seats?, Theres no tares or cuts, wat a waist i guess previous owner didn't care to cover it.

I have heard of people using mineral oil with mixed results. I personally have used sunscreen and got another season out some badly dried out seats, but yeah, borrowed time.
