WHat is everyone using as the foundation to mount their seats on?

My hull is very different from yours, but I'm using a 4" X 4" chunk of wood. Very, very ghetto.

Seriously, I think the type of seat your using is going to make a big difference in how it's mounted. What kind of seats are you going with?

All I've got for now are the stock Miller seats that cam in the boat.

Almost identical in layout to the Miller I had.
I wish I would have documented that project a lot more. Basically I glassed in some cut down 2" X 4"'s to the floor. Then screwed the seats down to the 2" X 4"'s, screws went through the seat bases (the part you see when the seat's bottom cushion's are out. Screw's were of the regular drywall type of screw. I also shot a couple of screws in through the side of the seats to the side of the hull, but that didn't need to be done.
The only pic I could find of those 2 X 4's, not sure if this pic is before they were replaced or after.

That's how mine were in the first place and I guess I'll just put it back that way for the time being.  DAMN!!!  I want to get out on the water.

Whos seats?  Mine, not on your life.     Those are original and I'll just replace the bad wood and reupholster.

Greg, not exactly the same but I picked up some 3/16 aluminum plate and built "seat pans" for my seats that I picked up from Skip.  They'll mount to some 3" X 3" angle that is sandwiching my stringers.  Should provide tons of support and will last for ever.

yes its one of those u shaped seats  that will 2 in the front and a bensh seat in the rear
