We finally have the boat running well enough for a water test. We had to remove the stock wire harness and ECM system and replace it complete with aftermarket AEM system. Lots of work.  Plus nobody has any experience with this engine at all,so we have been on our own to figure things out.

We hope to hit the water this weekend,weather permitting. I'll try to get some go pro video from the chase boat. Should be interesting.

I don't know much about domestic 4 bangers but it doesn't look like any of the jap boxes I used to play with.

We did get it out on the water for a good half day before winter set in, but was mostly unresponsive to tuning commands. We later found that the MAP sensor tested faulty. We have a new MAP sensor and are just waiting for the first early early spring day to bust it out. I expect it is going to go very well when tuned properly. Just gotta get to that point.

Been wanting to do a jet conversion on mine maybe this winter I'll try and throw the parts together and get started.
