Had a couple stress cracks, chips  and other random holes on the deck so I did all the glass and body work to make it perfect again. Here's a few pics of the progress, today is day 2 of the build.

I blocked down all the body filler and now its time to prep it for primer, I finished the body filler with 150 grit. Then also went around and blocked the whole boat down with 150 which took a whopping 20 minutes hahaha.

Yanked all the old foam out. Also reinforced the hatch where the hinges bolt on.

Im guessing its from people putting ALL there weight on that spot when there either getting in or out of the boat...  Should be stronger now, and we'll make sure not to stand on it.. The hull alone weights about 120 lbs hahaha.

well now that we know you have a booth, how much to paint a hull?   

Hahah where have you been man? Didnt you see any of the pics from my Scorpion build from when I painted it at my shop haha.. I also started a thread that I have a booth to let you guys use if you want!!! ANYONE from SCJB is welcome to use my booth at no charge!!! Yes no charge!!! And as far as how much I would charge to paint a hull.. It all depends on size, colors, body work, material and what not.. So theres no way I could say with out seeing it..

Decided to go with a glossy single stage black on the bottom. Came out real nice! Its like a mirror hahaha. Now I just gotta finalize the colors for the top. I really like the look and colors of this Daytona.

Got the boat flipped back over and started blocking the primer. Were thinking something along the lines of those orange samples. Also got the pump all prepped and primed.

I just made the paint, this is a GM color. Color code 77u . Its like a Pearl tangerine. I might even through some Pearl in the clear
