The guy I picked it up from said the last trip he was out on he had sucked up gravel And/Or rocks. But from what my buddy & I could see it seems to be in decent shape. So going to test it out before pulling things apart.

Put my exhaust back on... new gaskets. New studs. Decided to paint my valve covers and air scoop. Was thinkin of polishing but decided to go this route.

Can't miss with a little flat black... Looks great.

Did you use locking hardware on the exhaust? I would recommend it...

thanks guys. I dig the flat black. I like polished/chrome but i dont like the maintenence of keeping it looking nice haha. And yes i did use some locking hardware after my last time out blowing an exhaust gasket.

What is that electrical plug for? The one coming from the back of the motor going to center rear of the hull? Just curious?
