I think he was under the impression that the cylinders were washed out,

Know what your saying,  can you retard 11 degrees with the 6 digital 6520?? My understanding it only lets you go 9.9. Which would be ok on a 200 shot but 250 shot kinda pushing it.

What did you use to cut the Metal? Also, looks like the plate goes over part of the clean out, true? So next step is to fasten it to Hull and application a sealant, yes?
Looks slick BTW.

well the rule of thumb is 2 degrees for every 50. 9.9 degrees would be just fine for a 250. On our 150 tune up we ran Sinoco 110 with 4.7 degrees of retard with an NGK -8 gaped at 28. it was still on the fat side but not by much.
I like the digital 7, if i had the money this season i would have switched to that. next season for sure and a Data system

Gotcha ya it's alot of dough, Andy and bostick have me on a lil different tune up so I need something that can pull atleast 11. Trust me that 6 was sounding great. But if I had as much hp as you without the spray I probably wouldn't need a big shot either. Congrats on your new set up! Should be a rocket!

Dropped my pump off at B1! Chris took the time to explain what's needed, what's not, and suggested some things. Pretty stoked the cruiser is gonna get the upgrades she deffinantly needs, most importantly done right and not half assed!

upgrading from a 1310 to a 1350 driveline while motor being built.  Tom at jetboatperformance helping out with the spacing issue.  measured rail kit tabs since the 1350 is longer than 1310 - he will send right parts for new motor drive line!  so excited for new season!
