Prob so? Or flip it over and use the lower hole on the block... The mount on the motor plate is fine! Think you just have your adjusting bracket upside down? I think I even had to cut a short spacer on mine to get it to line up straight with the alternator..

Sorry didn't look at the pic good enough the first time? Didn't realize you were bolted into the head with the adjusting bracket? It will prob be the upper hole on the block...

Or the bottom hole on the head?? Lol I can't see it for chit on my phone? Just flip the bracket over and loosely put the adjusting bolt in the alternator and see where it lines up? You might even have to trim the bracket on the block side as to not have a bunch hanging out past the alternator and limiting your ability to adjust...

Replaced pump bowl gasket, would have been a 30min job if i had a normal TA plate but i don't.
Also added a new thicker shoe shim to drop the shoe below the keel. >:D

Also changed out top spacer from the broker nylon to a aluminum deal.

Testing hopefully later today of tomorrow @ BR.

I was thinking that Also.
Is that not where the diverter pivots? Could be rubbing a little there.

My guess is that your reverse bucket is partially closing.  It is amazing how much force that can have on the diverter arm.

That broken diverter looks to be adjustment caused. If it tries to go higher than the mechanical limit this is exactly  what happens. Only seen it twice before.

Check to see where the ram stops at full up, then fill down and compare how far the nozzle can travel in each position.

That sucks.

When the reverse bucket partially blocks the nozzle, the force tries to trim the nozzle up, pulling down on the tiller arm.  Check your reverse cable and lever.

Given that the paint is all dicked up where the nozzle would hit if going to far up, I would say adjustment issue.

I pumped out about 3/4 of the oil but I can't get the last 1/4 out and my drain plug is super low in the haul and can't get to it to just let the rest drain.
