whats out in el centro ca? im thinking about a new job out there but whats out there? how are the schools and whats the home prices?  Thanks for any input

There is a navy base in el Centro so im sure  that the schools are good. As far as speaking spanish, well your not going to get away from that unless you move to wyoming. I have been to el centro when i was in the navy and it wasnt bad, hot in the summer cold in the winter. I love glamis so it wasnt bad and your still colse to the river. if there is work and the work is good then the move is worth it

Thanks I will give you a call my last day at work is on the 25 then I'm going  my wife needs to transfer to the prison  down there then I will move the family  down I just hope this works out.... changes fukk I hate change

I was just reading a little about it on wikipedia and seems like a lot of farming/agriculture as well as desert. 22% of the population is below the poverty line. Two prisons and the Border Patrol provide local employment....blah blah blah

Thanks   i did the move and love it. we are presently looking for a home now its allot cheaper here about  200k to buy its starting to look up for us just a long ass road
