Went ahead and made the pillow blocks, material cost was $14 dollars  and Kevin (sandeggo) has been cool enough to help me out with all my Alum welds so far.. He just picked  these up today to go weld em up for me   ^-^

Can anyone post a couple pics of your stringer mount gas pedal set up... Id rather not drill into the floor if possible.. My pedal seems to fit perfect along the tunnel.. Any tips? thanks

Bolt it together with small alunum angle on the inside corners and it will add rigidity.

That's what I had in mind but he doesn't wanna drill through the tunnel, and would rather just grab the stringer.

I had the same style as in Brads picture on my old daytona, mounted to the stringer and never had any problems with it.
