I have some cracks all over the boat. I'd say 30% has been taken care off by my last paint and body guy which I had to let go...long story...have all the supplies including grinding disc's sand paper filler kitty hair glass etc. Need somebody to come in get her paint ready and preferably paint her too. Got a local guy that quoted me 900 to finish her up but I'd rather look around maybe some fellow member needs the money more.

Built a box for the hydraulic jetavator pump so the water doesn't get in. Nothing special.

Hooked up the hose and ran it for 5 minutes.  Checked oil. BEAUTIFUL!!!
Cleaned it.  Vacuumed the inside.
One thing I forgot was checking that wire hanging from my trailer.  Have to do that tomorrow mornng before we leave.

Looks great but how is it going to hold up against the fuel spills drips and heat? What kind of prep did it take? Bottom line how much when everything is said and done.

I did a little research before I decided to paint them because I had the same concerns but after reading some other forums people had good success following the directions on the back of the can that states for enhanced chemical resistance to cure the paint by baking it at 200 degrees for 1 hour. So I did that and I guess we will see.

As far as prep not much. I cleaned the carb by boiling in water and lemon juice for about an hour and that seemed to work great. After that a little masking and spray a few coats. Cost was only $65 and that includes my 2 rebuild kits.
